Courtney winterborne

Courtney Winterborne is a native Texan, transplanted to North Carolina via New Mexico, Wales, Chicago and New York.

She was the editor for the Gravity Hill Vol. 3 literary magazine at St. Andrew's University Press, which also published her first book of poetry Season For Season. She published her second book of poetry Wild Horses, as well as edited the first two editions of Light as a Feather: An Anthology of Resilience, through Swimming with Elephants. She has contributed short fiction to Corbeau Media and Main Street Rag, along with articles about feminism and the #metoo movement for Psychology Today.

Courtney is a hair/wig, makeup and special effects designer for film, Broadway and opera. She resides in North Carolina with her partner and two spoiled kitty cats.
