Terra Katherine McKeown (ze/zir) is an agender writer and farmer living in the American Southwest. Originally from the dripping, verdant forests of the Pacific Northwest, ze first came out as a novelist at nine years old. As a fan of fantasy, science fiction and monster horror, ze wrote for some small literary journals long before the internet made it easier to get fiction in the eyes of readers.

Meanwhile, buying into the need for a “real job,” ze moved from radio to academia to social work and bodywork therapies while still writing and sometimes publishing. Now, slipping on a banana peel into zir mid-life crises, ze is refocusing on writing and other creative projects.
